EXPERIENCE
Antonio has focused his practice on domestic and international arbitration, representing clients in high-complexity commercial and investment disputes. He has acted in ad hoc arbitrations and under the rules of ICSID, the ICC, the LCIA, UNCITRAL, and CAM Santiago, with particular focus on disputes arising from infrastructure, energy, mining, and construction projects. His practice also includes representing clients in enforcement and annulment proceedings for arbitral awards, as well as in insolvency proceedings involving reorganization and liquidation in Chile.
He also advises clients on the negotiation of contracts related to infrastructure projects, including engineering, construction, EPC, BOOT, BOT, and O&M schemes, among others, assisting them as well in the administration of such contracts and in the early-stage management of claims and disputes.
Antonio joined Claro & Cia. in 2016. Between 2022 and 2023, he was part of the international arbitration teams of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in New York and White & Case in Paris.
He has been admitted to practice law in Chile since 2017 and in the State of New York since 2023. He is also authorized as a foreign legal consultant in France (admission pending).
